i don’t think i’ve ever posted up any food related photos, which is a great shame. but here we are – the results of macarons and lemon meringue tarts -
not quite picture perfect, but a few formed feet and were deliciously, sweetly, enticingly, tooth-achingly fudgy. and in no way as inelegant as a badly strung string of adverbs.
notice bad handling of pate sucree in tropical weather. oddly enough, some people actually like “resilient” biscuit-like crust.
i had leftover ganache from macarons, so with some orange zest and reduced orange juice it turned into a lovely bittersweet-with-a-citrus-kick filling for a tart.
yes, the filling for this tart is pretty damn sublime.
next project (possibly): cupcakes for SHF?

This post evoked a nauseatingly tangled plethora of emotions, for a reason that I will disclose to you in private.
still don’t like macarons….but damn girl you can cook. if i come to SEA this year will you make me pastries?
ps: i’m starting blogging again, i think. i hate the word blog. love you!
why, thank you very much. and i have to say, those great many desserts look really, really good.
by the way, just out of curiosity…do i happen to know you?
so… I’m going to get spoiled with daily personal baking when I come home, right?
